Hello Elks! I would like to start off by WELCOMING our NEW MEMBERS!! I am looking forward to seeing you all at the Lodge. I am extremely excited about this year and all the fresh ideas and enthusiasm our new officers will instill in the Lodge. Thank you for accepting your positions, and I believe we will all work great TOGETHER!
All of the departing officers deserve a huge THANK YOU from all of our members for the awesome work they have done and the commitment they made! I personally want to “thank you”, and I am looking forward to your continued support and advice.
On another note, we have provided 54 Welcome Home Kits for veterans since we have been involved with this amazing program. A “high-five” to all for the work we have done to make this a success.
We have several events, including a variety of entertainment, planned for this year so keep an eye on the newsletter and your emails. The “Light-Up” board on the far wall by the bar will continue to list all monthly events as well as important dates at a glance.
I am looking forward to a great year and hope all our members are as well!

ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION (ENF)
Happy New Year! If you were a donor to ENF during 2024, do not forget that your donations
are tax deductible. If you are considering donations for 2025, please consider the National
Foundation. ENF returns nearly twice of what it receives each year back to Pennsylvania in
charitable work – you will not find a more powerful use of your charitable donations. To donate to ENF in 2025, just write your name on an envelope with $10 (or more) inside and drop it in the mail slot next to the office door at the Lodge. Also, remember you can include donations with your annual dues payment!
Fraternally,
Paul W. Stasko, PER
Lodge ENF Chairman
NOMINATION OF OFFICERS
Have you been thinking about becoming more active in your Lodge? Or do you know someone
in our Lodge who would make a great leader? The Lodge meeting next month (February 10th at
7:00pm) is nomination of officers as well as PER Night and Initiation of new members. We are
always looking for a few good men and women. If you cannot be there, but are interested,
please let us know prior to the meeting.
REINSTATEMENTS
If you know anyone who has been dropped from the roles for non-payment of dues and would
like to return to the Lodge, our by-laws permit us to waive the re-instatement fee for the
months of January and February. Please let them know – we would love to see them back!
2025-26 DUES
Dues notices will be going out at the end of February. I just wanted to give you a heads-up that
our dues will be decreasing for the next Lodge year due to assessments from the organization.
The dues for the 2025-26 Lodge year will be $57 for regular members and $37 for life
members. It is still an honor to belong to such an amazing organization!
LIFE MEMBERSHIP
If you have been a member of our Lodge for 30 consecutive years and are at least 65 years of
age, you are eligible for life membership. If this is you, please let the Lodge know by email to
elks644@elks644.comcastbize.net and we will address this for you.
We are looking to grow our Elks! Do you know of any family, relatives and
friends who would enjoy our Lodge? Please invite them to attend an event with
you or bring them in for dinner and a beverage. Applications are available in the
entry hallway. All they will need is a $10 deposit along with a completed
application. When they are initiated, the $10 will be applied towards their dues. If
you have any membership questions, please contact Debbie Checkeye at
